Ned Allis is Vice President of Gannett Fleming Valuation and Rate Consultants, LLC. Over his 18-year career, he has worked on hundreds of depreciation studies for electric, gas, water, and railroad companies. Mr. Allis has submitted testimony regarding depreciation issues in over a hundred cases before both state regulatory commissions and before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Mr. Allis has also performed valuation studies and decommissioning studies of electric generation assets. Additionally, he has conducted studies analyzing the long-term revenue and customer bill impacts of state climate policies on the gas and electric industries.
Mr. Allis led the development of the depreciation software used by Gannett Fleming, including applications for performing actuarial life analysis, simulated life analysis, salvage analysis, and depreciation calculations. He contributed to the EEI/AGA publication Introduction to Depreciation for Public Utilities and Other Industries. Mr. Allis received a B.S. in Mathematics from Lafayette College and is a past SDP President.
