Introduction to Depreciation - 6 CPEs

This overview course includes segments on accounting for group depreciation, life and salvage analysis, and annual and accumulated depreciation. The course is beneficial for professionals who prepare depreciation studies, managers wanting an overview of the segments of a depreciation study, or members preparing for the CDP Exam. There are No Prerequisites for this course.

Depreciation and Ratemaking Issues - 6 CPEs

This intermediate-level course includes timely topics each year. The first class discusses the role of depreciation in utility ratemaking, depreciation strategies and tactics, and stranded cost recovery.  The second class, new this year, examines in detail the impact of depreciation on the calculated revenue requirements, including short term and long term implications on your capital recovery policy. We end with a Current Issues Forum in which trainers discuss topics submitted by attendees.  This course is often repeated for additional review of the different depreciation topics discussed each year. There are No Prerequisites for this course.
