KPMG's IFRS Webcast Series for Natural Gas and Electric Utilities

From the KPMG Global Energy Institute: An Update on IASB Rate Regulated Activities

On behalf of the KPMG Global Energy Institute, the American Gas Association (AGA) and the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), you are invited to participate in the third broadcast in the series of Webcasts dedicated to the discussion of IFRS in the Natural Gas and Electric Utilities industry.

Date: Friday, July 31, 2009 (available for replay for a limited time after this date)
Time: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. (EDT)
Format: Audio Webcast

Jon Wierda, KPMG Advisory partner and National Leader for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in Power & Utilities, will co-moderate this session with Molly Hollonbeck, KPMG Managing Director in Transaction Services. The broadcast will address the International Accounting Standards Board's (IASB's) exposure draft on rate regulated activities. The Webcast will feature Michael Kraehnke, KPMG partner and IASB staff member who worked on the rate regulated project, and other KPMG Power & Utility professionals. This promises to be a compelling, interactive presentation on one of the most highly-anticipated IFRS topics in the power and utilities industry.

Global Energy Institute members are invited to register for this important Webcast by clicking here. The Webcast will last approximately 60 minutes, including a question and answer period at the conclusion of the discussion. After registering for this event, you will receive details on how to login to the Webcast (or dial-in for audio only participation), as well as any needed presentation materials.
Thank you and we hope you can join us at 12:00 p.m. on July 31.
